Now this really is the kind of neck-snappin' Metal to sort the men from the wimps! I'd love to see this lot on "Top of the Pops" playing inbetween Bronski Beat and Imagination- biting the heads off those poofy prats who spend the entire show prancing around like fairies and spewing all over the arse-licking DJ's who present it! Wouldn't that be a crack?

Like Chastain, Vicious Rumors are another bunch of Yanks (hence the dodgy spelling) under the production guidance of Stephen M. Fontano at the Prairie Sun Studios in California. But unlike Chastain, this mob have come up with an album of nothing but pure, wimp-wallopin, keyboard crushin', ballad-blitzin' HM, which is almost like the musical equivalent of Moscow's Red Square Parade- a fearsome display of might. But what's this-a track called: (Let's) Blitz The World? Blimey, this is more like the Red Square parade than I thought!

But seriously though, there can't be a true headbanger in Britain who'd have trouble thrashin' his/her nut to Vicious Rumors, and tracks like "Ride (Into the Sun)", "Murder", "March or Die", and, "In Fire" move faster than my bowels after a meat vindaloo."Domestic Bliss" (wot, like when your parents piss-off on holiday for a fortnight?) is the slowest song on the album, but that still peeled the varnish off my speakers in no time. And when "Blistering Winds" (which reminds me of that meat vindaloo again) comes hammering straight at you on the end of SIDE TWO, your ears are left ringing like the phone at a British Rail ticket office.
