Vocalist Gary St. Pierre was the second singer in VR, replacing original singer Mark Tate in 1983. He made his first appearance with the band on the track:"One way Ticket" from the U.S. Metal 4 Compilation album on Shrapnel Records. Gary co-wrote some of the classic songs from the first VR record,"Soldiers of the Night" such as: "Medusa","March or Die",and "Blitz the World". Gary was known for his wild on stage demeanor, and ragged-edge vocal style that was a key element of the "Soldiers" sound. |
